ME.

Another typewriter question

You guys helped me out alot with my last typewriter question, so here is another one:

I just got this typewriter in the mail

Its a Corona and the first patent date is 1917. Not sure if thats enough for any of you typwriterphiles to ID it.

Problem is I need it to function. The keys cause the printhammers to jump up, and the ribbon is in good condition, but the carriage doesn't advance when you type. In my typewriter searching, I've learned that this is a common problem with old typewriters.

What I am hoping is that it has a common solution.

Is there something I can read that can help me fix it? Should I pay for repairs professionally?

What is most likely the problem?
